Saturday is the dawn of a new UMD hockey season. The Bulldogs face off against British Columbia in an exhibition game at the DECC.
If you're not a DECC/roadtrip regular, there are many ways you can follow the action.
For starters, check this blog regularly. We'll have previews, pregame updates (including lineups for each team), analysis, and more throughout the season.
From there, you can listen to the games on The Fan 1490, or on their new website. During games, and at random times throughout the season, Bulldog hockey updates can be found on my Twitter page.
We invite you to head down to Grandma's Sports Garden on Friday afternoons prior to UMD home events for the UMD Luncheons. Coaches and Fan personalities are on hand, and it's a fun atmosphere.
It should be an exciting season. The Bulldogs plan to dress 14 forwards, seven defensemen, and three goalies for Saturday's "practice game." The real opener is next Friday against Lake Superior State.
Now's a good time to get your tickets and get behind the defending WCHA playoff champions.
